Wang Rong, female, associate professor, and doctoral supervisor, born in Changde City, Hunan Province in January 1991, was selected for the 2019 Postdoctoral Innovative Talent Support Program. She is currently presiding 6 projects including National Natural Science Foundation of China, and has published more than 20 papers, including 1 ESI highly cited paper with an H-index of 14, and 728 citations in the past 5 years. She serves as a thesis evaluation expert of the Degree Center of the Ministry of Education, an evaluation expert of the scientific and technological projects in Shaanxi Province, a member of the Chinese Chemical Society and the Chinese Association of Food Science and Technology, and an instructor of the Field Messenger of Northwest A&F University.

II. Research Field and Teaching

She mainly works on the rapid identification and green control of food-borne pathogenic bacteria. The research includes the visualization and rapid detection of food-borne pathogenic bacteria, the development and application of photodynamic sterilization technology, and the multi-scale computational chemistry simulation method to reveal the photodynamic sterilization process and structural interactions mechanism.

Responsible for the undergraduate courses Food Analysis and Inspection, English Writing in Food Science and Technology, and Internship in Quality Control and Safety Management in Food Enterprises, and postgraduate courses Laboratory Zoology and Modern Analytical Techniques of Food.

Research Project on Teaching Reform of Graduate Education at School Level: Exploration and Implementation of Curriculum Ideological and Political in Laboratory Zoology under the Perspective of Biosecurity and Humanistic Care.
